Ann Anna Brown Pepper passed away Friday, April 8, 2016 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox, Virginia . She was the daughter of the late Mary Lee Brown Smith and Thomas Mosley. She was born in Northampton County on January 4, 1949. She attended the public schools of Northampton County and was a member of First Baptist Church in Capeville, Virginia where she served faithfully as an usher. She was employed in the poultry industry.

Ann is survived by 2 sons, Joseph Brown and Charles Pepper, one daughter , Maryshell Pepper; 4 grandchildren, Charlisa Washington, Antoinette Washington, Javal Pepper and Latisha Pepper; 5 great-grandchildren, Shaborn Pepper, Shakese Giddens, Shaisa Pepper, Shatese Pepper and Jahzira Collins, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by two sons, James and Edward Brown.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 22, 2016 at Grays Funeral Home, Cape Charles, VA at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Cape Charles Community Cemetery..
