Antwaine Levar Burton, known to most as "Booty" was born in Nassawadox, VA at Shore Memorial Hospital October 10, 1981 to David Burton, Sr and Loretta Wilkins-Burton. He went to be with the Lord unexpectedly Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Sentara Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA.
Antwaine was educated in the public schools of Northampton County and was a proud alumnus of the class of 1999. He enlisted in the US Army with an E-4 rank. He was stationed in Fort Story where he was employed as HVAC Tech. He was a valued employee of the Eastern Shore Regional Jain; a Maintenance Tech at Heritage Hall in Virginia Beach, VA; and lastly as a Maintenance Tech with Breeden Company in Virginia Beach, VA. He was also a Mason Member of the Pride of Virginia Lodge No. 18 of Eastville, VA.
He married the love of his life, Demekia Beckett, January 21, 2000 and their union was blessed with four loving children, whom he loved dearly. He was fun loving, friendly, loved joking, but most of all loved his entire family and anyone he came in touch with throughout life.
Antwaine leaves cherished memories: his loving wife of 16 years, Demekia Burton, Fairview, VA; five loving children, Shamaurie Burton, Laneshia Burton, Taneshia Burton, Breanna Burton all of Fairview, VA and Ariel of Georgia; his Parents, David and Loretta Burton; one brother, David L. Burton, 37 and one sister, Laquida R. Burton, 26 all of Painter, VA; A grandmother, Mary Burton-Giddens, Hare Valley, VA; a Mother and Father-in-law, Earnest and Joyce Fenderson; two Sisters-in-law, Latoya Stratton (Shawn) and Erica Smith (DeWayne) all of Fairview, VA; and a very special friend, Darren Custis of Chesapeake, VA; 18 aunts; five uncles; two Great Uncles; a Great Aunt; a host of cousins, other relatives and close friends.
Antwaine was predeceased by; his loving grandfathers, Earnest Burton, Pete Giddens, Richard Upshur; and his loving grandmother, Eunice Wilkins.
Interment: Bethel Memorial Gardens, Franktown, Virginia
