Theodore (Teddy) departed this life on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at his home in Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania.
Theodore Thomas Reid Jr, was born June 16,1948 to Dorothy E. Reid and the late Theodore T. Reid Sr. He grew up in Machipongo, Va with his brothers Charles Edward and Richard Roger ( who preceded him in death) and his sister Doris Ann (who preced him in death). He leaves to mourn his mother Dorothy Elizabeth Reid, his children John Floyd Reid, Theodore Thomas Reid, III and Theodora Tomasina Reid, his brother Choncie Linwood (Doris Reid) and sisters Maggie Evelyn Reid and Dorothy Reid Williams, nephews Rodney Reid Williams,Dwyan Marquis Marie Downes.
He served his country with honor and pride. He traveled around the world and was stationed in numerous countries. He started his military career as a private and after serving in Vietnam came back to the states and became a Drill Sargent in Fort Pope, La. He shared his knowledge of the military by teaching ROTC at Fordham University, New York, NY. He attended 1st Sargent Academy and later completed the Command Sargent Major in EL Paso, TX. He achieved many awards, ribbons and medals during his career such as the Bronze Star. At the age he attended Antioch Baptist Church with his grandmother Maggie E. Bailey.
