Dante Rustin Smith
(affectionately known as "Rusty" and Mommy's "Hunny Bunny") transitioned to his heavenly home to meet his mother on Tuesday March 18, 2014 with his sister, niece and "Ms. Cora" by his side. He was born on September 7,1987.
Rusty
was a happy and content child that loved his mother's cooking, watching television with his grandmother (the late Minerva Smith Nottingham Meecham), playimg with his big sister Dawn and taking rides with his best buddy (the late James Moses.).
Rusty
attended Northampton County elementary and middle school(s). His long time babysitter and second home with Ms. Mandalina (Mandy) Giddens were his early mornings and evenings while he waited for his mother (the late Patricia Ann Smith) to pick him up after she worked. The love he received from both environments was evident by his hearty laughter and hearty appetite.
Rusty
enjoyed all facets of life...from spending special morning moments with his mom, going to church, social interactions at school, fun filled activities with "Miss Mandy" and playing with his wide array of cars and trunks. Rusty also loved playing with Miss Mandy's pets, watching his special fish (Survivor) while at home with his mom, listening to stories, taking car rides and visiting friends and family (especially his Jordann also known as "Klara" and his Jared also known as "ManMan").
After Rusty's beloved mother Pat passed away all who knew him saw his grief and sadness. he is now enjoying his Mommy in heaven with his new heavenly body.
