Obituary

Elder Delois Page, daughter of the late Isaiah and Estella Jackson was born January 24, 1937 in Seaview, Virginia.  She received salvation and joined Mount Sinai Gospel Tabernacle, Fairview, Virginia under the leadership of Bishop E. D. Smith.  After the death of Bishop Smith, she continued to serve under the leadership of Bishop Helen Gillis.  She enjoyed serving in church and was a Sunday School Teacher, choir member, Minister, and a prayer warrior.

She was united in holy matrimony to Ernest E. Page on September 19, 1958, and from this union were born two children, Alvin Page (deceased) and Sandra P. Holmes.  She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who had great love and concern for her family.

She worked at the Northampton Accomack Hospital as an LPN for a number of years.  In 2002, she retired from the Northampton County School System as a teacher's aide.  She was also an entrepreneur.

She slipped into eternal rest peacefully on Monday, September 3, 2018. She leaves to mourn and cherish her memories one daughter, Sandra P. Holmes (husband Calvin Holmes) of Hampton, Virginia; daughter-in - law, Chaundra Page, Richmond, Virginia; one Godson Starlene Dixon (wife Pastor Diary Dixon) of Fairview, Virginia; three grandchildren, Leatrice Orange, Robert L. Keyes, Jr., and Christopher E. Keyes, and two great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
