Deloris Beatrice Morris was born to the late Alfred and Mary Satchell Finney on July 8, 1930 in Norhtampton County, Virginia. She passed away at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox, VA on April 2, 2012. Aunt Dee received her education in the public schools of Northampton County. At an early age, she confessed her faith in Christ and joined Union Baptist Church in Eastville, Va where she remained a member until her passing. in 1953, she married the love of her life, the late Colin Morris of Cape Charles, VA. No children were born from this union. She was employed at G.L. Webster Canning Company. Later in life she worked full-time as a custodian at the DMV and part-time as a library assistant at the library in the town of Cape Charles. She also worked at the Northampton Memorial Library until she retired in 2009. She leaves to cherish her memory one sister Maria Harris, one uncle-in-law Arthur Riley, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and close friends. She was preceded in death by her six sisters Jeanette Snead, Annie Jackson, Cleo Nelson, Mayola Brickhouse, Fannie Brickhouse, and Sarah Roselle, and one brother Alfred "Snook" Finney.
