Obituary

Saturday, November 23, 2019, God dispatched his angel to receive his son from his earthly home to his heavenly home. Donald Henry Wynder is now resting with the Lord.

Donald, also known, as Donnie, Biscuit, and Don Juan, was the proud bundle of joy for his late parents, James "Jim Biscuit" Kellam and Virginia "Dollie" Wynder on June 21, 1957 in the Bayview Section of Cheriton, Virginia. He attended Northampton County Public Schools. He spent the majority of his adult life in Philadelphia, PA.

Donnie was skilled in many professions. In his younger days, he enjoyed working on the water with his father. He was an excellent mechanic, a skill he acquired from his father. His last employment was a Jack Operator Specialist for Procacci Brothers Sales Corporation in Philadelphia, PA. He retired after 16 years on the job due to health reasons.

Donnie was a comical, fun loving person. He was a lover of sports especially the Dallas Cowboys. He loved his children and extended family. His youngest daughter, Sophia, was the sunshine of his life. He spend all of his free time with her going to the park, the hair salon and eating at her favorite restaurants, Burger King and McDonalds. Every Sunday was his day to talk with his baby sister, Brenda. They shared a special bond being the youngest children and especially after the passing of their siblings. He shared his belief in God and often tested her about her salvation. His last words of each conversation would be, "you are all I've got".

Donnie was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Pearline and Deborah Wynder, brothers, Calvin and Jesse Wynder, and grandson, Don'Mire Ellis.

He leaves cherished memories to the love of his life, Bi Qin Green, aka Lisa, of Philadelphia, PA; four daughters: La'Tonya Mae Ellis, Deniece Nicole Ellis, Tanaira Wynder, and Sophia Elizabeth Wynder; one son, Donald Henry Ellis; three grandchildren: Tye'Asia Walters, Ta'Zae Walters and Diamond Clayvon; a sister, Brenda Lee Wynder; one aunt, Shirley Mitchell Christian; three uncles: Frizzle Thomas, Lorenzo Thomas and James Thomas; special friendships, Tony Lasey, Joyce Warner, Patricia Cade and Carol Bullard, a host of nieces, nephews, numerous cousins and the Bayview Community.
