Doris Jean Austin, 85 of Bayview Circle, Virginia died, Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home, Nassawadox, VA.

She was born October 10, 1930 in Edenton, North Carolina to the late Lillie Austin Hill.

Ms. Austin received her education in the public school system in Edenton, North Carolina.

She was employed in the domestic department at the Holiday Inn Hotel.

She leaves to cherish fond memories: a daughter, Lille J. Perkins (Jimmy), Lawrenceville, NJ, a son: Clinton Austin,Cheriton, VA., three grandchildren: Cashawn James, Clintisha Austin and Michael Perkins (Patricia), 14 great-grandchildren, a host of cousins and friends.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the African Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Garris, Officiating
