IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Elizabeth Young
Robinson
September 2, 1926 – February 2, 2022
In the year of 1970, Bishop Estelle Smith visited the home of Mother Mary Robinson; she was at that time an alcoholic. Bishop Smith began to minster to her the Word of God. Mother Robinson was convicted of her sins, delivered, and saved the same night. Mother Robinson open her home for services; they began to have prayer and bible study there. Many people came and soon the house became overcrowded, therefore, it was time to find a bigger place. In 1992, Bishop Helen Gillis was elected as the second president of Mt Sinai Church of Christ Deliverance, Inc. Under the leadership of Bishop Gillis, Mother Robinson continued to serve faithfully as a member of Emmanuel Holy Temple, Norfolk, Virginia.
