Ellen Ann
was born on February 19, 1935 to the late Japetha and Pleasant Ann Dixon, she was the youngest of four children. She received her eduation in the Northampton County Pubilc School System and later worked at GL Webster (Kane and Millier).
She was united in holy matrimony to Isaiah Leroy Jackson and moved from the Eastern Shore to Norfolk, Virginia. Shortly afterwards, she becamed a Certfied Nursing Aide and was employed by Consulate Health Care of Norfolk (formally Lafayette Villa), where she worked for 35 years.
Ellen accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at the early age of 8 and continued her walk with God under the leadership of Elder Estella Smith and Bishop Helen O. Gillis. She was a member of Emanuel Holy Temple in Norfolk, where she flourished and served as Assistant Pastor under the leadership of Elder Ornia Dixon.
Ellen leaves to cherish her memories: 10 children, Maria Spady (Theodore), Isaiah Jackson, Larry Jackson , Yvonne Willis (Rick), Barry Jackson (Etta), Anthony Jackson (Lara), Delois Bailey, Adrienne Silver (Anthony), Rod Jackson, and Tonya Jones; 20 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 2 sister in laws; 2 aunts a host of nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.
