Eunice Betsy Brown was born in Cedar Grove, Virginia on November 28, 1924 to the late Patience and George Andrew Smith. She was married to her loving husband John Willie Brown for 55 years. The Lord called her to rest on Friday, October 5, 2012 in the comfort of her home in Greenbackville, Virginia surrounded by the love of her husband, John W. Brown, daughter, Faye Eulonda Perry, and niece who she considered her sister, Gretchen Faye Smaw
Eunice was known as Noon, Honey, Mama, Grandma and affectionately called Kitten by her husband John. She was fun loving, forthright, and feisty. She loved to sing, cook, make people laugh and love her family. Eunice and John Brown raised their children Larry Wayne Corney, Faye Eulonda Perry, Ray Lynwood Brown and from birth grandchildren Melvin Alphonso Perry III and Shercoda "Cody" Smaw.
She leaves to cherish precious memories her loving husband, John Willie Brown, three children, Larry (Hilda) Corney of Stamford, Connecticut; Faye Eulonda Perry of Atlanta, Georgia; Ray Lynwood Brown of Miami, Florida; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law; three God-children; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
