A Reflection of Life

Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital, Jesse James Wynder left this earthly home to join the heavenly host where he is singing his Hallelujah Praises unto the God of our Salvation.

Jesse, a resident of the Bayview area was born on June 23, 1956 to the late Virginia "Dollie" Wynder and Jesse James Robinson. He attended the public schools of Northampton County. He left the area to move with his brother, Calvin, in Allentown, PA.

Jesse enjoyed talking and being around all kinds of people. He acquired a part time job as a limousine driver and a full time worker at Hersey's Chocolate Factory until he retired and returned back home. He did not retire for long as he obtained jobs with Bayshore Concrete, Kempsville Building Supplies and Bay Creek Golf and Resort. After many years, he retired to the leisure life.

Jesse met his best friend, Frances Stratton, 15 years ago and was joined in holy matrimony on June 27, 2014. He was a comical guy; always making people laugh whenever he was around. He loved children and would encourage them to do well in school and get an education. He enjoyed helping people and often transported them around town. He was a member of the Pride of Virginia Masonic Lodge.

In 2012 he confessed Christ as his personal Savior while attending a tent revival in his community and joined the First Baptist Church Capeville. Every morning he would say, "Thank God for waking me up" and when questioned about his faith, he would reply, "just because you don't see me with a bible doesn't mean I don't read it."

He as predeceased by his brother, Calvin, sisters, Deborah and Pearline and his Grandma Beulah.
