Mr. Johnny Gunter, 91 passed away at his residence in Cape Charles, Virginia on February 17, 2016. He was born June 7, 1924 in Northampton County, Virginia. He was the son of the Late Isaiah J. Scott, SR. and Monie Allen Jones.

He was married to the late Helen Thomas Gunter.

He was employed as an inspector for Nehi/Budweiser for 58 years

Mr. Gunter leaves to share memories his sons, Thomas and John
Smith; daughters, Lottie Banister, Diane Spady, Joann Saunders, Helen
Waldo and Bernice Vew; sisters, Mae Talley and Ruth Jones; 18 grandchildren;35 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was held 12:00 noon on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at First Baptist Church, Cape Charles, Virginia with Rev. Felton Sessoms, Officiating.

Interment was in the Cape Charles Cemetery.
