Kenneth "Kenny" Marrow of Cheriton, Virginia died on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at the age of 49. Kenny was born on July 8, 1967 to Ella Mae Marrow and the late Elvis Williams.

As a child, Kenny attended African Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Dr. CF Mapp. He attended Northampton High School. After leaving school, Kenny was employed at KMC Foods in Cheriton, Virginia and later moved to Franklin, Virginia where he worked at Birdsong Peanuts until he was injured on the job. Kenny moved to Richmond, Virginia and worked several jobs before returning to Cheriton where he worked for Bernie's Conch until his death.

Kenny was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan.

Kenny is survived by his loving, caring and devoted mother, Ella Mae Marrow, son Marquise Bynum, Franklin, VA; three grandsons, Jeremiah, Jayden Bynum and Markavien Everrett, Franklin, VA; one brother, Anthony Holley, Richmond, VA; three sisters, Malinda Marrow, Chesterfield, VA, Deborah Strand (Nathanial), Richmond, VA and Mechele Marrow, Franklin, VA; four nieces; seven nephews; two aunts, Hazel Savage, Richmond, VA and Ernestina Houston, Greenville, SC; one uncle, William Payton, Cheriton, VA; a host of great nieces; great nephews and cousins. Kenny was especially close to his cousins James Payton, Tanya Payton, Cheryl Savage and a special friend, Hope Lyons.

He is preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Hazel Morris; great-grandfather, Richard Morris; grandmother, Clara Settlers, grandfather, Abraham Marrow; great aunt, Ella Mae; sister Annette Adson and one great nephew, Lorenzo Jermelle Stith "Little Man".

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 2, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Gray's Funeral Home, Cape Charles, VA. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at African Baptist Church, Cheriton, Virginia with Reverend Garris, Officiating.
