Leslie Jenkins was born on January 31, 1952 in New York,
NY. He was the son of the late Evangeline J Perry. He was

for the Deaf and Woodrow Wilson Learning Center. He was
employed as a cook at Cape Charles Air Force Base until

Leslie, affectionately known as Billy Wyatt to family and
friends loved the Lord. One of his favorite past times was
sports. He spent many of his youthful days playing
basketball on Cape Charles back street with the guys as well
as shooting pool with his brothers and nephews at the pool
hall. There was no greater Redskins fan than Billy Wyatt. He
looked forward to spending Sundays at Cissy's home rooting
for the Redskins. His vacations in DC with Irene were the
highlight of Wyatt's summer. He was always ready for a
game of deuces and kept a smile as long as he was winning.
He enjoyed Monday night wrestling. His favorite hobby was doing word search books and there was always one nearby. Billy Wyatt greeted everyone he knew with a big smile, handshake or hug and a thumbs up.
Everyone who knew him loved him.
