Mr. Lester Herbert Spady, Sr. of Birdsnest, Virginia passed away Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Heritage Hall Nursing Facility in Nassawadox, Virginia.

He was born June 17, 1936 in Virginia to the late Robert Spady and Catherine Smith. He was the husband of Joanne' Smith-Spady.

Mr. Spady was retired as a supervisor for the New Jersey Turnpike Cooperation.

Smith; daughters-in-law: SanBaika and Deborah: sisters: Grethen Smaw and Paulette Smith; sister-in-law, Mildred Smith; brother-in-law Andre (Thelma) Savage, grandchildren: Amber Spady, Jael Gille, Kali Gille, Jason Smith, Jerak Smith, Johanachan Mincey, Catina Spady, Leslie Spady and Akia Spady; God daughter, Ashanti Mitchell, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and the entire community of the Eastern Shore, Virginia.
