Neomia Johnson Jones entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 18, 2007 in Nassawadox, Virginia. She was the fourth daughter of eleven children to the late Reverend Emanuel and Rosa Steele Johnson in Perdue Hill, Alabama. She received her former education in McCullough, Alabama. She was married to the late John Jones in 1952 in Columbus, South Carolina.

Neomia gave her life to Christ our Savior at a very young age and remained steadfast in her belief. Our dear Neomia will be remembered as a faithful member of the Holy Temple Church of God and Christ in Salisbury, Maryland. She was under Watch-care in the Gospel Temple Holiness Church in Cheriton.

She will be lovingly remembered by her two sons, Charles Jones (his wife, Alice) Oakland, California and Bobby Jones (his wife, Sue) Desoto, Texas; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Abraham Johnson, Baltimore, Maryland and Floyd Johnson (his wife, Jerry) Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; four sisters, Mother Mary Lee Smith, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Elder Annie B. Edwards, Cape Charles, Virginia, Elder Marian J. Cottrell (her husband, Deacon Arthur Cottrell) Cheriton, Virginia, and Evangelist Lillie R. (her husband, Robert Jackson) Hayward, California; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by a daughter, Deloris Jones, a son, Samuel Jones, one sister, Callie Mae Johnson Miller and three brothers, Joseph, Marvin, and Billy Johnson.
