Mrs. Odelle J Collins, 86 of Machipongo, Virginia departed this life on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at her residence.  She was born on December 13, 1937 in Cape Charles, Virginia and was the daughter of the Late William H and Rosetta Reddick Johnson.

Mrs. Collins was married to the Late James G Collins, Jr.  She was a longtime mathematics teacher for Northampton County Public Schools from which she retired.

Mrs. Collins was a member of the Northampton High School class of 1955.  She earned a bachelor of science degree in biology from Virginia State University and took graduate classes at Old Dominion University.

There will be a Sharing of Memories for Odelle Collins on Friday, September 20, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 501 Nectarine Street, Cape Charles, VA.

Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cape Charles Community Cemetery, 3120 Old Cape Charles Road, Cape Charles, VA.
