Pearline Dorothy Fisher passed away to join her heavenly Father on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. She was born to the late Dorothy and George Fisher in Cape Charles, Virginia where she was a lifelong resident.

Pearline attended the public school in Cape Charles. She was industrious and energetic in the workplace and the community. She was a dedicated member of the Cape Charles Concerned Citizens Association.

Pearline realized a need to have a spiritual relationship with God. At an early age she joined Saint Stephens A.M.E Church in Cape Charles, Virginia where she used her God given talents by serving on the choir, Steward Board and willingly rendering a helping hand whenever and wherever she could throughout her illness.

Pearline was a loving, kind and generous mother and grandmother. She was a considerate and supportive family member and friend. She leaves loving and lasting memories for her son, Deveron Fisher of Cape Charles, VA; two grandchildren, Nyarah and Jahiem Fisher; one Goddaughter, Angel Jones; two brothers, Gene A. Kenney (Dee) of Saint Paul, Minnesota and George E. Kenney of Cape Charles, VA; two aunts, Jessie Braxton of Cheriton, VA and Gloria Askew, Portsmouth, VA; six nieces, one nephew, a host of cousins, and many other loving friends, some which she called sisters: Robin Joyner, Diane Spady, Erica Wiggins and Lenora Mitchell. She was predeceased by her sister, Nancy Bowden.
