Roosevelt Theodore
Goffigon was born to the late Roosevelt Theodore and Mary Bailey Goffigon, December 31, 1945 on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. He departed this life on Thursday, February 27, 2014.
Roosevelt attended the Cape Charles School (over the "hump"). His favorite sport was baseball and he watched the games whenever he could. Fried chicken was his favorite food and collecting caps was a favorite hobby. Whenever he went outside his challenge was, "which cap should I wear?"
Roosevelt resided at the Arc House in Belle Haven for many years. It served as a refuge of peace and comfort. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Freddie Parker and Samuel Goffigon and three sisters, Fannie Wilkins, Lillian Jeffery and Maurray Francis.
He will be lovingly remembered by two brothers, Jessie Goffigon (Cheryl), Texas and John A. Goffigon, Philadelphia, PA; three sisters, Jannie Burney (Rickey), Connecticut, Barbara Johnson (Milton), Exmore, VA and Gloria Perry, Connecticut;a host of nieces, nephews,cousins, other relatives and friends.
