Ms. Sally Dian Smith, 65 of Cape Charles, Virginia passed away Sunday, October 16, 2016 at her residence. She was born in Starke, Florida to the late Jasper H. and Dinah Limbert Barnes.

Sally attended the Northampton County School System. She enjoyed family and friends in her neighborhood during her declining years.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 1:30p.m. from First Baptist Church, Capeville, Virginia with Reverend Kelvin F. Jones, Officiating. The interment will be in the church cemetery.

Sally is survived by 2 sisters, Rose Davis and Mary Sampson (Rodney); one aunt, Diana Rucker; 4 uncles, William Hayes (Betty), Vernon Hayes (Joanna), Joseph Hayes (Jerry) and Leonard Hayes (Evonne); a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
