Thomas Henry Morris, son of the late William A. and Bertha M. Morris, was born June 4, 1951 in Northampton County, Virginia. He slipped away into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at the Heritage Hall Nursing Facility in Nassawadox, Virginia.

Thomas received his education in the public schools of Northampton County. After graduating he was drafted into United States Army and served 8 1/2 years. Upon honorable discharge, he married and had one child to this union, Thomas H. Morris, Jr. In his later years he was blessed with two additional children, Ashanti Morris and Breanna Morris.

Thomas was a fun-loving person that was known by everyone. He enjoyed fishing, playing dominoes and having family gatherings. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memories, one son, Thomas H. Morris, Jr. (Asia), Washington, DC; two daughters, Ashanti Morris and Breanna Morris, Cape Charles, Virginia; three grandchildren, one niece, Marcella Morris, Machipongo, Virginia, two nephews, Diego Upshur (Charlene), Eastville, Virginia, Richard Upshur, Machipongo, Virginia, four great nieces, five great nephews, a special friend, Chris Graves, and a host of other relatives and friends.
