Virginia deported this life Saturday, October 24, 2009 at her resident in Bayview, Virginia. She attended the public schools in Northampton County. Her employment history included Perdue Farms, Bernie's Conch Plant and C & E Farms for many years.

Gin Ann was very devoted to her family. She was a wonderful, loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great great-grandmother. She would brighten everyone's day and was the sunshine of the family. She was filled with joy despite her illness and she never complained.

Gin Ann leaves to cherish many memories: five daughters, Brenda A. Jackson (Junior), Brenda D. Benton (Leroy) both of Allentown, PA, Sandra Burton, Sharlene Benton and Teresa Moses (Harold) all of Bayview, Virginia; two sons, Lester Benton (Angie) Allentown, PA and Melvin Benton, Bayview, VA; twenty-one grandchildren, twenty- six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, a host of cousins and friends. Gin Ann was predeceased by a sister, Rosa Mae Williams and a lifetime friend, Oliver Stoakley. Her love will live forever in our hearts.

You have always been there for us in so many loving ways That sometime we really do feel we have our own personal angel. You have watched over us; wanting what is best for us when we needed it. You have shared our hopes and dreams And taught us how to believe in ourselves. So that one day we could spread our own wings and fly. So much of who we are is because of the special woman you are.
