Willie "Frances" Wiggins, affectionately known as "Frances" departed this life January 23, 2016 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital, Nassawadox, Virginia.
Frances was born October 15, 1931 in Halifax, North Carolina to the late William Ambres and Lonnie Mitchell Ambres. She was the third of twelve children. She received her education in Halifax public school system. She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Isaac Riddick Wiggins, Sr. in 1955.
Frances was a member of New Jerusalem Holy Church, Cheapside, Virginia.
She had a love for children, so much that she started a daycare in her home which she enjoyed doing until her health began to fail.
She was predeceased in death by a son, Ron Wiggins; one sister, Louise and four brothers, Arthur, Paul, William, Jr. and Lindbery.
She leaves to cherish her memories: Isaac Jr. of Belhaven, VA; Prentice of Cheriton, VA; Bernice of Hampton, VA; Patricia of Cheriton, VA; and Charlene (James) Chandler of Belhaven, VA; four sisters; Mae Frances Thompson, Carrie Daniel, Nancy Ambres, all of Richmond, VA; Christian Ambres of Washington, DC; two sisters-in-law; Alice Ames and Maggie Moses of Cheapside, VA; one brother-in-law, Lonnie Wiggins of Cheapside, VA; six grandchildren, Keyon (Dysheta), Darlene, Charlene, Erone, Curtis and Isaac, III; 14 great-grand children and a host of nieces and nephews.
